Cute. Beautiful spot. Love the view and calm atmosphere. Good food. Nice birthday or date spot or dinner spot on the Berkeley marina.

Such a gorgeous dockside venue with absolutely scrumptious food and beverages. Our sever was attentive and vivacious, she made sure we were well taken care of!! We cannot wait to return soon!

came here for a second time for dinner. They are now about half a year into opening I believe. I came here earlier when they had opened for just one month and since then, I would say they have improved! I have to say that the staff here is always so friendly. kudos to them. I love the ambience. I love the casual feel, the fresh air, and the view next to the water. This time we ordered the following: Fettuccine al pesto - I liked it! I love pesto. I do think it was a little more creamy than I normally like, but it was still really good. Ahi tuna salad - well done. I like the Asian flavors and sesame seeds. I personally like my salads with less dressing, so next time I would probably ask for dressing on the side. brownie dessert - solid brownie just a little bit too sweet for me, but that's a personal preference. not shown is that we also ordered some wine and cocktails. I got to the old-fashioned, and old-fashioned is an old-fashioned. it was good!

Nina and I had lunch here today and once we found it our experience was wonderful. We found parking and when we got out of the car there was a delicious, cool breeze, most welcome during the current heatwave. The restaurant is directly behind Hana Japan and they share a large parking lot. We walked up the ramp to the restaurant and the young man who greeted us asked if we had reservations. We said we didn't and he went to check whether we could be accommodated. Later we found out why this was an issue. We were seated at a normal height table near the open windows and given menus. High tables are not good for old ladies. There was a large, multi-generational group seated at a long table, 20 or more people. Despite the large number of people--and the number of kids--they were quiet. We looked over the menus and both decided on the fish and chips. That had been my intention coming in, but seeing shrimp and grits made me pause because I love that too. I will get it on another visit. Misty, our server, came over to take our order. She was friendly and upbeat. Nina ordered her fish and chips w/ salad rather than fries and in retrospect I wish I had done the same. I'll know for next time. When our plates were brought, there were two large pieces of cod, malt vinegar, tartar sauce, catsup and a cocktail sauce, all in little ramekins. There was an abundance of fries and they were very good. I ate many, but scarcely made a dent in them. Nina gave me part of her salad and it was good. We drank water. The fish was amongst the best we've had, a generous serving and perfectly cooked, and our standards are high. The best I've had have been in England and New Zealand. When I got up to go to the bathroom the young man who had seated us directed me down the back ramp toward their bathroom. At first I thought they were sharing Hana Japan's bathrooms, but Misty later told me that their kitchen and bathrooms were downstairs while Hana Japan was upstairs. She also told us that the large party had come in w/o a reservation, which explains the young man's question when we arrived. There were 23 people and Misty managed the crowd and us and a party of older women who arrived after we did, w/ aplomb. Nina and I agreed that Alan and Larry would have loved the fish and chips.

We came to celebrate Father's Day. The view and bay breeze was nice. We had fish and chips, cups of clam chowder, fried chicken sandwich, crab sandwich, chicken wings and a butter lettuce salad. All tasted good and fresh. I liked the crab salad with the truffle fries. Chowder was a little too soupy for my tasting, I like it thicker. Service was friendly but a little slow. Overall pretty good. I'd come back for the view and some cocktails.

This is a great place for dining especially being on or near the water in the marina. The service was beyond excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. The parking is a bit of a challenge so bring your patience. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious and abundant. My wife & sister each had the cioppino and the both finished their food which neither ever do. My brother in-law had the steak and fries, which he loved. We had s'mores dish for desert which was very delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and I will come back next time I'm in Northern California

Wow. What a hidden gem! We found this place by accident and absolutely loved it! The food was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Michael was the best! Great view of the marina! Will definitely come back! The fresh fish was done perfectly and the cioppino was super yummy!

Such a beautiful location! They're brand new so they're still working out the kinks but this place is awesome. Service can be slow but very friendly as they launch this great place. Fish and chips is amazing. First time I came there were two huge filets but second time only one. Clam chowder leaves much to be desired-watery and lacking flavor. Actual clams in the chowder was a nice touch. I will continue to come for the view while they keep perfecting this soon to be gem.
